How to Separate Vocals from a Suno Song Free
Updated August 31, 2026 · 5 minute read
You can create a vocal stem and an instrumental version without paying per song. Our free separator runs locally in a compatible browser, so the audio stays on your device.
How local separation works
The tool downloads an AI model on first use and processes the waveform with WebAssembly and multiple CPU threads. No account or Replicate credit is required. The first load is roughly 45 MB; later visits can reuse browser cache.
Separate the stems
- Open the free Suno Vocal Remover.
- Select an audio file you own or may process.
- Press “Separate vocals & music”.
- Leave the tab open while each audio chunk is processed.
- Preview and download the vocal and instrumental WAV files.

Use the highest-quality source available. Separation is harder when vocals have heavy reverb, distortion or wide stereo effects. Headphones reveal artifacts more clearly. Chrome or Edge on a modern desktop generally provides the most consistent performance.
Privacy and limitations
The file is decoded and processed inside the browser. Older phones can be slow or run out of memory on long songs. AI separation is not identical to the original studio multitracks, so faint vocal or instrumental leakage can remain.
