How to Organize Your Suno Music Library

An organized library prevents lost versions and makes future releases faster.

Use one folder per song

Store the master WAV, listening MP3, artwork, lyrics, prompt notes and license information together. Add subfolders for drafts, stems and exports only when a project becomes complex.

Choose consistent filenames

A useful pattern is artist-title-version-date.ext. Avoid names such as final-final-2.wav. Use clear versions: demo, mix01, master and release.

Record provenance

Save the original public URL, creation date, model or workflow notes and ownership information. Provenance is valuable when collaborators ask how a track was created.

Back up important work

Keep at least two copies on different devices or services. Test restores occasionally. MP3 is not a substitute for a master WAV.
